Our privacy policy

Our privacy policy is a public statement of how our website applies data protection principles to processing data. We have tried to make it as a clear as possible, so that it is accessible to all.

If you have any queries, please email us at hello@loopcentral.co.uk or use our website contact form to get in touch.

Who is collecting data on our website?

Any information you provide to us via this website is collected by us, Loop Central.

Some anonymous data is also collected by Google Analytics, while our social media features will collect data in the form of cookies about social actions you might take.

What data is being collected?

We collect data via the website form we use. Our contact form collects information such as your name, company, email and the short message you provide, which is then emailed to us via the Contact 7 Form Plugin for WordPress. This information is not stored on our website or its server.

At the bottom of our form we ask for consent to collect your data. Please do not use the form if you do not want to give us your consent.

We also allow data to be collected by cookies and tracking technology. These include social media cookies and Google Analytics tracking. What these technologies do is collect information on how users interact with our website and enable us to improve. For example, social media cookies are used when you share information using a social media sharing button or ‘like’ button on our website or you link your account or engage with our content on or through a social media site. The social network will record that you have done this. Another example is Google Analytics cookies which help us understand how visitors arrive at and browse our products and website to identify areas for improvement, such as navigation and user experience. With Google Analytics, in accordance with best practice, have set up anonymized IP addresses so your IP cannot be identified.

Opting out of cookies: You can set up your browser to refuse cookies if you want to, though that might limit some site features. To do so, you can change your browser’s options to stop accepting cookies or to prompt you before accepting a cookie from a website you visit. The UK-based Information Commissioner’s Office provides more information on cookies and how to opt out here: https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public/online/cookies/

If you use our blog’s ‘email story to a contact’ button, we don’t collect these email addresses and would not use them for other purposes even if we could.

Will the data be shared with any third parties?

The data we collect via our website is for our use. We will not sell this information.

We use the information you provide to continue the conversation about marketing services you might want from us. For example, we would reply to your email address if you make contact with us first.

How will the information be used?

Information we collect via this website is for the purposes of dealing with your contact request. Occasionally, we may send you an email update about what we’ve been doing and any new services we’re offering. These sorts of emails from us tend to be few and far between. You can opt out of these emails if you so wish (by unsubscribing in the footer of an email).

What rights does a data subject have?

One of the primary aspects of the EU’s new GDPR regulations is an increase in the rights of the data-subject (you as a website user). This includes the right to withdraw consent to your data at any time, to inspect and correct stored data, to be forgotten (have your data deleted), and to receive in a portable format any data about you that we have. You can request to see the data we hold on you at any point, and you can also request deletion of your data at any point.

How can a data subject raise a complaint?

If you would like to make a complaint about our website data practices, please email us at hello@loopcentral.co.uk or use our website contact form to get in touch.

Note about website security:

We have put security measures in place to protect the loss, misuse and alteration of the information under our control. Only authorised personnel are allowed physical and/or digital access to our servers and data. All servers and data backups are kept secure from physical and electronic intrusion by use of firewalls and security systems, which are monitored and periodically evaluated and upgraded.
